Remember when Jerry Ford was the most inept President in recent memory? Can you imagine Reagan distinguishing himself on the Warren Commission? Bush???? Now, Ford stands tall as the most sensible and ethical of Republican Presidents since Ike. Maybe only Bush Sr. and Nixon, that devious son of a bitch, were smarter 'pubs, and you can get an argument about the intelligence of anybody named Bush.
I'd be embarassed if I didn't remember that the majoity of American voters rejected Bush in 2000, but that's a small consolation.
